PADI OPEN WATER DIVER
The Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba certification course. As an PADI Open Water Diver, with this internationally recognized and respected designation, you will be able to dive unsupervised (with a dive buddy) anywhere in the world! Throughout your course your PADI instructors will take you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive, and you will develop the knowledge and skills that will allow you to feel safe, comfortable and confident when diving. You will start at the beach and progress to the open water while getting background knowledge along the way. Finally, upon successful completion of your course you will be certified to safely dive with a buddy, independent of a dive professional to a depth of 60 feet. Ages 15 and up for Open Water Diver; Ages 10 to 14 for Junior Open Water Diver. Pre-requisites: Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water.
Includes: 5 Theory Modules (Completed over 2 Sessions); 5 Confined Water Dives; 4 Open Water Dives (Completed over 2 Days); All necessary materials – PADI Open Water Crew-Pak, Video, and Log Book. All necessary equipment – mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, compass and submersible pressure gauge.
