PADI SCUBA DIVER

A pre-entry level certification ideal for individuals with personal time constraints and those who prefer to dive with direct professional supervision. The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the Open Water Diver course which prepares you to dive in familiar conditions to a recommended depth of 40 feet when supervised by a Dive Professional. At the end of this short course you will be qualified to (under supervision): obtain air fills, scuba equipment and other services. You also will be able to plan, conduct and log open water no stop dives (no decompression) only when properly equipped and accompanied by a certified Dive Master, Assistant Instructor or Instructor in conditions in which they have training and experience. Pre-requisites: Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water.

Includes: 3 Theory Modules; 3 Confined Water Dives; 2 Open Water Dives; All necessary materials – PADI Open Water Crew-Pak, Video, and Log Book. All necessary equipment – mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, compass and submersible pressure gauge.

PADI OPEN WATER DIVER

The Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba certification course. As an PADI Open Water Diver, with this internationally recognized and respected designation, you will be able to dive unsupervised (with a dive buddy) anywhere in the world! Throughout your course your PADI instructors will take you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive, and you will develop the knowledge and skills that will allow you to feel safe, comfortable and confident when diving. You will start at the beach and progress to the open water while getting background knowledge along the way. Finally, upon successful completion of your course you will be certified to safely dive with a buddy, independent of a dive professional to a depth of 60 feet. Ages 15 and up for Open Water Diver; Ages 10 to 14 for Junior Open Water Diver. Pre-requisites: Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water.
