Fantasea’s Cruise & Kayak Eco Tour is a fantastic way to gain insight into Bermuda’s fascinating history and to explore the island’s diverse marine ecosystem. Following a short boat ride to our launch site you will receive instruction on kayaking and safety and you will be issued a life-jacket and a stable sit-on-top ocean kayak. You will then begin your fun and easy introduction to this enjoyable sport with a short practice session, after which your guides will pick the best location and route for the tour depending on weather conditions. Enjoy a fully guided and narrated shoreline tour kayaking either through the “Paradise Lakes” area, a beautiful sheltered waterway which is surrounded by over a dozen historical islands and small coves, or the “Daniel’s Head” area, a scenic eco-reserve. Both areas are home to an interesting collection of plants, birds and marine life, and you will find the natural beauty of Bermuda’s rocky coastlines, uninhabited islands and beaches awe inspiring in either locale. Your guides will provide an informative commentary along the tour and the occasional paddling tip as the tour winds through hidden coves and inlets before culminating at a quiet beach. There will be time to enjoy a refreshing swim and relax with complimentary beverages prior to your return trip. Wear a swimsuit, and don’t forget your towel, hat, and sunscreen, as you join us for this unforgettable Bermuda adventure.
